A long time ago, back in the year 2000, I decided to get my feet wet with this whole world wide web thing and though it was kind of
on-again-off-again, I taught myself the rudiments of HTML, then scripting languages, CSS and so forth. This site used to be my own
personal web site or - what everyone now calls, a blog. That was kind of on-again-off-again as well.
This is the 7th interation of blandplanet and the first where I've moved on from the ever-present blog format to this - my photography and
design portfolio.
I've been interested in photography for a very long time - having inherited it as a hobby from my father along with a heap of camera equipment to get me started. Since then, I've taken pictures all over the place - from the US to China, Japan and more. In conjunction with my love of photography is my interest in computers and computer graphics. I was introduced to pixel pushing back in high school when I got my hands on my very own Amiga 500 and a copy of Delux Paint III. The rest was history. Now, sadly the Amiga really doesn't exit anymore (except in our hearts, minds and retro computer fairs) so I've long since upgraded to a Macintosh and Photoshop.
In this site, you'll find several galleries featuring work I have done over the past few years. Everything from B&W prints to mock-up pomotional ad copy is here. Feel free to drop me a line and let me know what you think, have any questions or would like to discuss having some work done.
Thanks
